[External] Basic Audio/Video Troubleshooting

If you're experiencing any issues with either audio or video, you're probably able to solve them yourself! The following steps can aid you in resolving or pinpointing the issue. If you're not able to resolve the issue yourself, please submit a support ticket. 

Video/Image 

  • Make sure that your display device (projector/TV) is powered on
  • Make sure that your device is set to the right source/input. The remote for your projector or TV will often have a button named "Source" or "Input", which allows you to browse the available inputs. Go through and select each one of the available sources and see if the correct image is displayed
  • Make sure that all cables are fully inserted at both the Wexer Player and your display device. Refer to the illustrations below
  • If you have gone over these steps and still have not been able to resolve the issue, please submit a support ticket, preferably with some bright and clear images of your setup and cabling 

Audio

  • Make sure that your sound system is powered on
  • Make sure that your sound system is set to the right input. The sound system will either have separate volume knobs or a selector for each input. Make sure it is set accordingly
  • Make sure that all cables are fully inserted at both the Wexer Player and your sound system. Since a sound system can have several cables, a visual check can sometimes be more appropriate 
  • If you have gone over these steps and still have not been able to resolve the issue, please submit a support ticket, preferably with some bright and clear images of your setup and cabling
